Journey of anime and manga Washinomiya gLucky™Starh


There, is a small town which did not used to be famous at all but because of a manga and a lot of animation, fans are now visiting and the town is revitalized. The lucky town is Washinomiyamachi (Currently called Kuki city), Satte City and Kasukabe City in Saitama prefecture.

Information

The animation is called "Lucky™Star ". It is a comedy life story about 4 high school student girls.
It has been 6 years since it was on TV. however , there are still many devoted followers, let's visit the places that come into "Lucky™Star " in real world!


  Washinomiya 01 Kasukabe Station
This is Kasukabe Station. This is the station where Tsukasa was dancing at the opening theme animation. The station is refurbished and there are few differences from the opening theme, such as a peaked roof.
  Washinomiya 02 Kasukabe kyouei mae bus stop.
Kasukabe kyouei mae bus stop. This is the bus stop placed in front of the highschool that is in the animation. It comes into the animation frequently. You can see the same rustic scenery as it appears in the animation. Let's take the bus from Kasukabe station!
  Washinomiya 03 Toubu Satte
Toubu Satte. It comes into the animation. This is the closest station to Gongendou- sakura tutumi where Konata danced in the opening theme.
  Washinomiya 04 Toubu Satte
This place used to be the flower shop comes in to opening theme of the animation. That was where Konata's father, Soujirou Izumi was watching the highschool girls passing by. However the flower shop itself has closed down and the shop has been knocked down and now there is just a vacant parcel.
   
  Washinomiya 05 Gonendou sakura- tsutsumi
This is the road where Konata was dancing in the opening theme. Gonendou sakura- tsutsumi lays ahead. All the cherry trees bloom impressively during the spring. There is a bus from Satte Station. To get to Gongendou Sakura-tsutsumi From Satte Station is about 2km and it is only 30 minutes on foot.
   
  Washinomiya 06 Wahinomita Station
Toubu Line Wahinomita Station. There is "Lucky™Star " mikoshi, a portable shrine, placed by the station. It is used in city festival "Hajisai" held in September.
  Washinomiya 07 Washinomiya Shrine and Ootori chaya
Washinomiya Shrine and Ootori chaya. This shrine is worshiped and respected for one of the most old Shrine in Kanto region. This is so famous for the place where Kagami was dancing among Fans, this is the place never to be missed. 1st floor on the Ootiri Chaya is there for normal shrine visitors and the 2nd floor is studio for mini FM radio station "Radio Washinomiya". During new year festival or when some event is hold in Washinomiya, voice actors and artists visit are invited as guests of the radio program. This is only ten minutes walk from Washinomiya Station.
  Washinomiya 08 Ootori Chaya
Ootori Chaya. You can order lovely sweets like this one in the picture. It is nicely served with "Lucky™Star " special chop^stick holder.
  Washinomiya 09 Haji Festival
This is the picture of Haji Festival. The picture is the Haji festival in 2010. There was a total of hundred and twenty thousand people including the animation fans, non animation fans, co-players and others visited the festival. The approach of Washinomiya shrine was flooded with people.
   
  Washinomiya 10 "Lucky™Star" portable shrine
Valiant mens carried "Lucky™Star " portable shrine. They call out "Moe~ Moe~" chant as they walk about the street.
